Brisbane police have charged a 43-year-old man from West End following investigations into threats made towards a member of the public.
Detectives from the Counter-Terrorism Investigation Group (CTIG) allege the man made verbal threats via a carriage service on 14 and 18 August. A search warrant was executed at a Thomas Street address on 18 September, resulting in his arrest.
The man faces one count each of using a carriage service to make a threat to kill and using a carriage service to menace, harass, or cause offence. He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on 26 November.
